I have bought really great books after downloading and checking them here like Head First Design Patterns, Effective Java 2nd edition. And i will continue to buy those that i found are worth my money. Most programming books were released quickly just to be “with the current hype” and gets get obsolete early on like OReilly’s “Ajax on Java” which has contents that are no longer relevant these days.

i usually download the book online and if it’s worth having a hard copy id definitely go buy it at BN.
