So, it’s flattering to see the book illegally available so soon, but readers who actually want to support me for writing this (and the publisher for producing it) can buy it legally at: http://oreilly.com/catalog/9780596523008/ or http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0596523009/
Also, because we recognize the value of wide distribution and the fact that its often hard for people in certain countries to find a legal way to purchase a book (or the money to cover the cost of it), the book will be released under a creative commons license on March 2010.
So please, pick one of those options. If you need to read something right away, on this topic, our blog is the best place to start. blog.rubybestpractices.com

I have bought really great books after downloading and checking them here like Head First Design Patterns, Effective Java 2nd edition. And i will continue to buy those that i found are worth my money. Most programming books were released quickly just to be “with the current hype” and gets get obsolete early on like OReilly’s “Ajax on Java” which has contents that are no longer relevant these days.
