About the Author
Richard York is a web application developer for Trilithic, Inc., a company specializing in test equipment for the telecommunications industry. He wrote his first book, Beginning CSS: Cascading Style Sheets for (Wrox Press) in 2004.
Richard began his web career taking courses at Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis. Since college, he has continued a self-imposed curriculum, mastering various technologies used in web including /XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. An avid supporter of software, he has written an webmail application for PHP PEAR, and is currently working on an PHP library and framework called Hierophant, which he hopes to release in 2006.
